Sunflowers: Nature's Smiling Sunbursts 🌻

Inspired by hay rides, pumpkin patches, farm visits and over alls this traditional pumpkin is the “Prize Winner” of the Fair! Using a fireside color pallet I created a pumpkin with all the texture, dimensions, rivets, bumps and valleys with flaming orange and yellow. This is your permission to add s’mores to your weekend plans. Prize Winner easily lasts from September to November in all of its warm colored glory.
Large: Approximately 23 inches wide and 21 inches tall.
Medium: Approximately 15.5 inches wide and 13 inches tall.
Version History: The 2025 Version has a slightly different size and shape. It is not 100% exactly the same as it was in years prior. This year, I had to start from the original photograph and create a brand new outline. If you were to stack this one on top of one from years past they would not line up exactly even though the image is the same.
Inspired by the glorious color changes of fall I have juxtaposed warm yellow, orange and reds with fuchsia, bubble gum pink, teal, green and dark blue. Inspired by the Disney Cinderella story this Pumpkin combines the traditional orange pumpkin with hints of teal magic. Just as the fairy godmother turned a pumpkin into a glorious coach we have the ability to turn something common into something extraordinary!

Inspired by the conscious decision to look for the good. While visiting Cape Cod, a first for us as New England Newcomers, Mike snapped a picture of the most amazing, vibrant Dahlia. Painting the Dahlia was challenging, fun and exciting. Joy returned to painting. The green heart is our visual reminder that when skies are grey we just might find cheer in an exceptional flower.
